I know... What!? Why are you watching Nicktoons when you're almost 18...

The answer:

Because Aang is so damn cute!

A lot of people think its a rip off anime which infuriates me. I happen to be proud of being an American and I enjoy the animation they produce. While the large, incomplete eye outline is generally attributed to japanese cartoons (while techniqually its common to asian cartooning styles in general) this show has a very amercian quality! The fluidity is gorgeous and the story is actually based on a Korean legend (research people ><;). Its irritating when my countrymen hate our land because its not japan... My style is very obviously anime influenced and I hate being clumped together with the ignorantly biased!
